Lander and the Girls

Lander headed home today after spending a week in DC. He eventually got home after getting bumped on his connecting flight.

Sammy and Casey come over to Visit

Marin's friend Sammy and her sister Casey came over to visit and meet Riley. While they were here, they baked cupcakes with Bubbe. Later, Marin decided to put pink icing on hers and put it all over her hands and face.

Hanging Out

Riley just hanging out around the house with Lander and daddy and showing that she really is Bubbe's girl.

Extra Post - Today Only - Hopefully

As we have not had a post for 2 entire days, I thought I would put up a few extra pics today. Below is Lander with Riley and Marin with the infamous, yes she is that famous, Fifi.

Baking Cookies

Tonight, Marin baked cookies with Bubbe. We had a slow day and stayed in with everything being closed around town. Beepa did go out to try to find eggs, and after 90 minutes and many stops, found a dozen at a gas station so that the cookie baking could continue.

 

Uncle Lander visits

It was very exciting as Riley got to meet the first of her Uncles, as Uncle Lander came to visit. It was great for Riley to meet Lander, but Marin went crazy. She was sooooo excited to see him. Also below is a pic of Marin with some late Chanukah presents from Uncles Parker and Lander, and Marin hard at work on her Concuter, as she calls it.

Last Night of Chanukah

Tonight was the last night of Chanukah. Mommy and daddy got a great present, Riley found her thumb. Now lets hope she can find it again.

Marin's Class Chanukah Party

Today, Marin's class had their annual Chanukah party. The girls sang songs, ate latkahs and sufganiyot (jelly donuts). The camera was at school all day today, so no pics of Riley until tomorrow. Sorry :(

 

Riley's First bath

Today Riley had her 2 week check up, weighing in at 8lbs, 2oz and still measuring 20inches. We followed up this day out with her first bath. below are pics from the bath and also from Chanukah. Marin wants to thank Aunt Jaime, Uncle Tayler and cousin Mason for her great new dress up costumes.

Castle park and the Chanukah Fire Truck

Today, the girls had an outing in the 65 degree weather to the Castle park in Germantown. Marin, as usual made some new friends, and Riley laid in her stroller. This evening, Chabad had the annual Chanukah Fire Truck parade around Rockville and Gaithersburg. This year, there werwe about 8 fire trucks and ambulances in the parade.
