Museum of Natural History with friends and Flat Star

March 23, 2008

Today we went to the national Museum of Natural History to see a new exhibit with live butterflies. We brought Flat Star along with us to enjoy the beautiful day in DC.

First Marin and Flat Star stopped by the EPA to see if they knew what was going on with global warming and the increasing price of gas. To bad they were closed, it was Easter.

Next, they made their way to the Museum, it was not very crowded, again, because it was Easter.
The first stop was to visit Dumb Dumb, as every kid at the museum was calling him, thanks to Ben Stiller and Night at the Museum, but ironically it is a statue from Easter Island.

Inside the butterfly exhibit, a butterfly landed on Hunter's head.
After a little while, the girls started to want to leave.
The room was 80 degrees and kept at 80 percent humidity, just how the butterflies like it.
They said that butterflies were masters of disguise.
Here Flat Star tries to hide from Marin.
